The LEGO Group concluded 2024 on a strong note, with another year marked by growth and innovation. The company’s financial successes and social contributions highlight its dedication to quality products, sustainability, and community involvement.

In its 2024 financial report, LEGO reported a 13% rise in revenue, totaling DKK 74.3 billion, fueled by increased demand for its wide range of products.

Operating profit rose by 10% to DKK 18.7 billion, while net profit grew by 5% to DKK 13.8 billion. Free cash flow also saw a significant boost, reaching DKK 10.2 billion, a 24% increase.

LEGO’s success this year is largely credited to its sustainability efforts, with purchases of certified mass balance materials jumping from 18% to 47%, half of which are sourced sustainably.

The company expanded its product lineup by introducing 840 new themes, forming partnerships with NIKE and Formula 1, and launching LEGO Fortnite, which attracted over 87 million players.

Looking ahead, LEGO is focusing on growth through expansions at its factories in Vietnam and the U.S., along with upgrades in digital technology to enhance customer experience.

CEO Niels B Christiansen commended the company’s accomplishments and noted its positive influence on more than 12 million children globally through product donations and initiatives that promote play.

With a strong commitment to financial success and sustainability, LEGO’s future looks bright, suggesting continued innovation and growth.
