My Favorite LEGO Ideas (May 2026)
My May 2026 ideas include a JOLLY ROGER-HOOK Pirate Ship, A French Houseboat, a 1900s Victorian House. A Mini Road Roller, and a Public Service Bus.
The JOLLY ROGER-HOOK (1991) Pirate Ship
This idea would be a fantastic set. Anyone who remembers the 1990s film Hook would find it nostalgic, but it also fits for settings with a pirate or high seas theme. With ten characters and a detachable roof, the ship is visually appealing, but it can do more than just hold well-known objects from the film, such as the boo boo box with scorpions. The set could blend in with any ship on the high seas thanks to its three custom made minifigure torso’s and Peter Pan Wanted poster.
The French Houseboat
An idea for the maritimers, It’s displayable and playable. It is an inland waterway boat with class 1 barge dimensions. It displays French waterways in their regional character. It includes both living and cargo space inside, with several of the pieces being removable. With 6 minifigures, animals, minifigure-friendly accessories, and a size of 3ft long, it is like a miniworld that can change every day.
1900s Victorian House
With unpulled apart wands on the fencing and a 1×1 round plate with a bar handle (25893) employed beneath the eaves, this idea is full of intriguing part usage. If it were an official set, the intricate detailing on the interior and outside would make it stand out on a shelf.
A Mini Road Roller
This idea is small but maintains detail. It’s based on larger Lego sets. Its features include a functional cab door, an opening engine, and revolving rollers. It demonstrates that you can build a little vehicle for a minifigure that still is realistic.
Public Service Bus
This LEGO Idea is a well-designed public service bus. You can tell who’s inside the bus because of its glass windows and doors. It has both internal and external advertising, with the outside featuring an ad for Octan Gas. It is perfect for any LEGO city because it features a detachable roof, plenty of seating, and handrails for standing passengers.
